Mulberry Spring 2010 presentation

Monday 07 December, 2009 | RSS Feed

Mulberry launched the Mulberry Spring 2010 show at the Soho House, which is full of a carnival complete with a candy presentation, caramel covered apples, carousel horses, and balloons.

The season "celebrated faded beauty, distortion and the naivety, sweetness and intensity of adolescence," according to the literature given out to media darlings in attendance.

The main stream of this season's handbags is as bellow: Crazy Horse Heads, Carousel Horses, Dreamy Day and Fuzzy Flora. Crazy Horse Heads means a graphically opaque carousel horse head print; Carousel Horses indicates a faded photo montage of fairground attractions; Dreamy Day is with a super-faded, dreamy print and Fuzzy Flora a vivid, Technicolor floral print.

Being a girl's true love, as for Mulberry handbags, the color palette included a mix of neutrals like creme, blush and beige and vibrant shots of pink. A playful pink/black animal print added whimsy to a collection that was "a dreamy take on schoolgirl crushes and fairground iconography."
